Helix Lived Experience Forum Volunteer
What can Helix Lived Experience Forum Volunteers become involved with? Collaborate with the LPC Communications Manager – Dave Williamson and other forum members to review and support content for the Helix LPC Newsletter and Helix LPC Website.
Support the LPC Commissioning Team at local and national events i.e. delivery of joint presentations.
Attend community events to raise the profile of local and national awareness events.
Attend the Helix Clinical Delivery Group (CDG) as a Helix Forum representative (application process)
Attend the Helix Partnership Boards (PB) as a Helix Forum representative (application process)
The CDG and PB are solution focused and where decisions are made. Dates and times to be confirmed. The agenda for these meetings will always be sent at least seven days in advance. The CDG is for 2 hours, PB for 1.5 hours (Dates TBC). Representatives will feedback to the Helix forum. This is where topics, ideas and solutions are discussed with support from the Chair Fiona Jenkins - Helix LPC Head of Expert by Experience. This is fed back to the CDG and PB.
This role requires a commitment to attend the 1.5 hours monthly Helix Lived Experience Forum. The Lived Experience reps will support in the development of plans for change and make recommendations from a lived experience perspective.
